In times when the financial situation becomes more pressing and the doors keep closing, AIESEC Iaşi channels its attention on developing youngsters and bringing an impact in a continuously changing society. We decided to do all this through projects that are dedicated to high school students’ development, increasing cultural awareness among young people or promoting sustainability. We are also transmitting the vision of our organization by developing a new AIESEC local.
For the members of the organization, May and June were two months full of both personal and professional activities. Even if they were in examination session at the university, the members kept their passion and motivation in making successful projects and achieving their objectives. Therefore, in May we offered to high school students an alternative of non-formal education program through Grow, we promoted sustainability among youngsters with Sustainability Education Program, and in June we had "Intercultural Dialogues" with specialists in the domain and students interested in multiculturalism. We are approaching the international conference IASHINGTON, a unique initiative in AIESEC Romania.
The newest achievement we are proud of is the contribution we bring to the expansion of AIESEC Romania, by founding a new AIESEC local in Suceava. The students` enthusiasm and the emotion they experienced during the interviews for the selection of the management team, led to the forming of a local keen on taking forward the AIESEC vision. They have demonstrated the fact that the values of the organization can be applied anywhere.
We wish our colleagues from Suceava good luck with their first projects - the summer Grow edition and the Recruitment for the Exchange Program. We offer them our support in their activities and the confidence that they will bring a positive impact on local community.

PR Manager AIESEC IaşiÎntr-o perioadă în care criza financiară este tot mai apăsătoare, iar uşile închise sunt tot mai multe, AIESEC Iaşi îşi canalizează în continuare atenţia către dezvoltarea tinerilor şi aducerea unui impact într-o societate locală care se află în continuă schimbare. Ne-am propus să facem acest lucru prin proiecte dedicate dezvoltării elevilor, creşterii nivelului de sensibilitate culturală în rândul tinerilor şi promovarea sustenabilităţii. De asemenea ducem viziunea organizatiei noastre mai departe, prin dezvoltarea unor noi locale AIESEC.
Pentru membrii organizaţiei, lunile mai şi iunie au fost active atât din punct de vedere personal, cât şi profesional. Deşi în plină sesiune de examene, membrii au lucrat în continuare cu pasiune şi motivaţie pentru ca proiectele să se desfăşoare cu succes, prin atingerea tuturor obiectivelor. Astfel, în luna mai am oferit elevilor de liceu o alternativă non-formală de educare prin programul Grow, am promovat sustenabilitatea în rândul tinerilor cu ajutorul Sustainability Education Program, iar în luna iunie am purtat "Dialoguri interculturale" împreună cu specialişti în domeniu şi studenţi interesaţi de multiculturalitate. Ne apropiem cu paşi repezi de conferinţa internaţională IASHINGTON, iniţiativă unică în reţeaua AIESEC România.
Cea mai nouă realizare cu care localul nostru se mândreşte este contribuţia adusă la expansiunea reţelei AIESEC România, prin înfiinţarea unui local AIESEC în Suceava. Entuziasmul studenţilor suceveni şi emoţiile prin care au trecut la interviurile pentru alegerea echipei de conducere au dus la formarea unui local dornic de a duce mai departe viziunea AIESEC şi ne-a demonstrat faptul că valorile organizaţiei se aplică oriunde.
Le urăm mult succes colegilor din Suceava, la derularea primelor proiecte - ediţia de vară Grow şi Recrutarea pentru programul EXCHANGE. De asemenea, le oferim sprijinul nostru în activităţile lor, precum şi încrederea că vor aduce impactul dorit în societatea locală.
