What does 2% stand for?
2% is a percentage of each citizen’s income tax, generally claimed by the state, yet a percentage that each and every working individual can choose to redirect to a third party, an NGO.
This initiative allows a better control on personal finances and at the same time it brings transparency to the fiscal policy. Last but not least, it offers much needed support to the NGOs in developing their volunteering activity, all this without generating any extra costs from the citizens.
Why should the 2% be redirected to AIESEC Iasi?
Present in 110 countries and territories for 64 years and with over 50,000 members, AIESEC is the world's largest student‐run organisation. Focused on providing a platform for youth leadership development, AIESEC offers young people the opportunity to be global citizens, to change the world, and to get experience and skills that matter today.
All these multicultural learning and leadership experiences would not have been possible so far without the implied founds.
You too can support the youth development in AIESEC Iasi by redirecting 2% of your revenue.
How can you support us?
The forms can be found at AIESEC Iasi headquarters, at the Financial Administration Office of Iasi or on the Internet: here (2% official page) and here (National Agency of Financial Administration).
After having been filled in, the form and the fiscal file belonging to the contributor have to be taken to The Public Finance Office until the 30th of May 2011 by the same person who filled them in.
